This was a blast the last time we did this!!

This is going to be a great weekend that will book up quickly so the trip will be first come first serve based on deposits received..

Friday
You can either carpool with us at 9am or meet us after work. If you meet us at 11:00 we will travel to
Brasstown Bald and visit Georgia's highest mountain at 4,784 feet. On clear days, the spectacular 360-degree view from atop the mountain's observatory offers visitors glimpses of four states.
Afterwards we will stop at Crane Creek Vineyards for a wine tasting and before heading to the Cabins.
We will enjoy a great night at the stocked creekside cabins and cook dinner.

Saturday

Lunch included with the rafting
Whitewater Rafting- The Chattooga River:
The world's most famous whitewater river, the Chattooga is an American Classic and one of the first streams added to the United States National Wild and Scenic River System.
Cascading waterfalls, gigantic boulders, and lush rhododendron--pristine wilderness surrounds the Chattooga. This incredible river offers unique adventures on two sections.

Section IV of the Chattooga begins where the Wildwater Section III trip ends. This run covers the steepest section of river currently being run on a commercial basis in the Southeast. In a one quarter-mile gorge, the river drops more than 75 feet through the famed Five Falls: Entrance, Corkscrew, Crack-In-the-Rock, Jawbone, and Sock-Em Dog. Recommended for guests with previous rafting experience, Section IV can be the ultimate challenge for whitewater paddlers. On Section IV trips there is a skilled guide in each raft.

If you would like a less challenging whitewater rafting experience- Section III of the Chattooga is the perfect trip for novices. Most of the rapids on this section are class 2 and 3, gradually increasing in difficulty as the trip progresses. Bull Sluice is the highlight of the trip. Dropping 14 feet over a series of two drops, this challenging rapid provides a resounding introduction to the technical rapids downstream. There are both guided and follow-a-guide rafts on this trip.

If you prefer to opt out of whitewater rafting there are plenty of activities to do in the area.

After whitewater rafting we will enjoy a Cookout back at the cabins

I'd say I want to go, but it's way too early. I can't plan that far ahead...so this is a maybe.
